5 reasons why you should (or shouldn't) publish your book
Howdy Space Cowboy,
Wondering if you should or shouldn’t publish that latest book you’ve been sitting on for half a century?
Wonder no more, my friend
Whether it’s the apocalypse, aliens, or true attunement to who you are and what you’re really meant to do here on this earth…
Publishing your story? Your process? Your purpose? Your wisdom?
(Oh yes, we’re getting philosophical this Sunday 🤔.)

That’s an adventure only you get to decide – so, if you’re thinking about publishing, choose (or don’t choose) your reason wisely.
I share with you in no particular order…
5 reasons why you should (or shouldn't) publish your book:
It might be the end of the world and if anything survives in the dark recesses of some cave in a continent on the opposite side of the world from you... perhaps that's a tattered copy of your debut book that your client’s, mom's, dad's, aunt's, kid bought. OR maybe your friendly neighborhood end of the world prepper that lives next door!
(Because everyone needs great reading material during the end of the world, right?)
Either way, lucky you! Publishing just might have you surviving the apocalypse.*
…Most of the greats were discovered after they died, right?Let’s get real, if anything truly survives the modern-day apocalypse, perhaps that'll be an eBook or audiobook copy of your book (thank goodness for the internet and the power of digital files!)
Although publishing with Reaching & Rooted is currently limited to 40,000 retailers, schools, and libraries, as well as over 200 countries - you can bet your bottom dollar we’ll be jumping on the space cast train as soon as the conductor gives us the go!
So, if you’ve been thinking about publishing and you’re looking for a good reason, why not give the aliens something worth listening to, ya know?
Something that really represents the end of an age, or at least something "out of this world."
(I’m betting you weren’t expecting a list quite like this one... Ok, ok, we’re getting serious now. Keep reading.)Perhaps you're publishing because you’re tired of repeating yourself to your clients, staff, kids (HA, can't help you there) and maybe you thought to yourself. MAN, I wish there was a book on this stuff!
Well… there can be. But first you have to stop gatekeeping those decades of wisdom stuck in your head!
Next time you’re tempted to repeat yourself to someone, don’t. WRITE. IT. DOWN. Or if you need a little help, give us a call. We’ve got a pretty radical process we call Extraction to help you get that book out of you.
Repeat yourself? Nah. Instead, you can literally throw the book at ‘em.You're growing tired, weary, maybe even dead inside from putting in the work for everyone else but yourself. And this dream of publishing?
Well, it’s been a dream far longer than you care to admit or to accept.
Wake up. It’s time to turn that dream into a reality for yourself.
Everyone else? They can wait.
And realistically, your work will benefit them even more when you finally get this book out of you, won’t it?Creating digital, physical, and purposeful products out of your years of hard-earned wisdom, grit, sweat, and tears and leaving a legacy for you, your family, and your kids’ kids’ kids’ kids is on your bucket list.
So, what the heck!? It is the apocalypse after all.
(See Reasons 1 and 2 again.)
So, what's your reason to publish?

(And trust me, those aliens don’t know how lucky they are.)
My reason for publishing?
I’ll take a number 4, double with cheese please.
Happy Sunday, keep writin’!
To the moon and back,
